Tour Assistant Application

What is involved in being a Tour Assistant?
  • A wonderful opportunity to get to know the singers
  • A significant time commitment planning/preparing as a member of the tour committee
  • Direct supervision (chaperoning) of the singers on tour
  • Performance support
  • Logistics support

What is the skill set that we need to fill?

The TA team assists with many aspects of a successful tour, and the team works together to fill these skills.
  • A positive attitude – you want to be directly involved with the singers in all aspects of their tour experience
  • Execution of a detailed tour itinerary in conjunction with YSC's CEO and Tour Manager
  • Assisting during performances as the backstage crew
  • Wardrobe supervision
  • Logistics - assisting with setup, takedown, and movement of equipment and gear
  • Medical expertise and/or first aid training

Tour Assistants work hard and are an integral part of the tour experience. You'll be the first point of contact for singers and their families, experience the joy and excitement of the tour through the singers' eyes, and have the satisfaction of helping to successfully see the tour and the performances come together.

If you have any questions contact YSC CEO Megan Emmett ([email protected]) or Tour Manager Alida Lowe ([email protected]).

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis and we will accept applications based on the number of singers registered for tour. Please realize that we can accept only a limited number of Tour Assistants based on how many performers are participating, and TAs with prior experience will be given priority.

In any capacity - whether with YSC, on another organized tour/trip, on your own vacations, places you've lived or worked, or any other travel you've done.
